The welding robot should strictly control the preparation quality of parts and improve the assembly precision of welding parts.

(1) Develop special welding technology for welding robot, and make strict technological regulations on parts size, weld groove and assembly size.
Generally, the dimension tolerance of parts and groove is controlled within ±0.8mm, and the dimension error of assembly is controlled within ±1.5mm. The probability of welding defects such as porosity and edge bite can be greatly reduced.

(2) Adopt assembly tools with high precision to improve the assembly precision of welding parts.

(3) The weld shall be cleaned, free of grease, rust, welding slag, cutting slag and other sundries, and solderable primer shall be allowed.

(5) An arc pit is formed at the end of the weld after cooling. During programming, the function of buried arc pit is added in the working step to fill it up.
